Who We Are

We believe in providing quality service at a competitive price, while acting with integrity & honesty at all times.  It is part of our company DNA where we put our customers, community & families first despite the challenges.  The original partners of Commercial Battery Service, Ken Davidson & Paul Bobo made this a priority in 1977, originally as Exide reps. They instilled those values in the current partners, Lance Owen & Jerry Bryant.  They were long time employees with the company when they acquired the company in 2016.  Quality & timely service is a mainstay of who we are... In the 1980’s when Walmart opened its first DC outside of Arkansas, Commercial Battery was there.  We still service this facility today.
 At our core we are a small business with a big heart. We cover all of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas & Louisiana for motive power service.   We cover the U.S. coast to coast for our Ice Resurfacing customers.
As a manufacturer’s rep for Enersys Motive Power we have been recognized in 2 of the last 5 years as Rep of the Year.  In 2019 we added Green Energy(GECI) to our product line.  In 2023 we became a Master dealer with Imperial Batteries in order to offer a complete line of SLI(Starting, Lighting, Ignition) batteries.  Going into summer 2024 we are doubling the shop and warehouse space in Central Texas to improve the capabilities of our service facility. This combined with a retail location will allow us to better serve this growing area of Texas.  Our longevity in the marketplace has allowed us to establish relationships with similarly minded service providers throughout the country when the need arises. We are privileged to be a trusted motive power service provider to many Fortune 500 firms, regionally recognized Texas based companies, the U.S. Army/Airforce and the greater Southwest.
